Cultural Historian Br. John, portrays
world class, show horse performer, inventor, horse whisperer/trainer-Tom Bass. Born into slavery in 1859 and nicknamed "The High-Hatted Horseman, Tom was the creator of the famed, over 110 year old, "American Royal Saddlehorse" Show, in Kansas City, MO. (Note far right pictured American Royal Horseshow hosted in old Convention Hall-circa 1915)
